Job Description:
The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect will support new Business
Development and Sales Teams in the field. The Solutions Architect
must have competency, knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding
in diverse web service technologies for cloud computing platforms
to deliver quality service with a customer orientation. The
candidate must have the ability to, multi-task, and communicate
effectively to manage multiple engagements, business priorities,
and goals in an efficient manner. The individual must be
comfortable engaging/selling technology products and services to
CFO?s /CTO?s/CIO?s, and business managers along with the sales
team. Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track
record in technology services sales and knowledge of cloud
technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical
organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess
strong presentation skills and be able to communicate
professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when
submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate
sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. The
Solutions Architect will also use analysis techniques and
procedures, including consulting with users to determine system
functional specifications.
Responsibilities also include:
Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to
promote successful partner engagements.
Organize technical workshops to ensure a high technical bar and the
appropriate sharing of knowledge with prospect organizations.
Support Business Development in driving revenue and market share in
a defined territory or industry vertical
Support Business Development in meeting or exceeding quarterly
revenue targets
Accelerate customer adoption
Support Business Development in maintaining a robust sales
pipeline
Expect moderate travel
Contribute to the corporate Cloud Architecture team through sharing
best-practice knowledge and collaborating peers.
Provide cloud focused demonstrations, evaluations and proof of
concept support
Develop AWS cloud architecture solutions for clients
Communicate appropriate regulatory Information Security controls to
clients and help guide them to understand compliance options.
Assist with RFP responses
Required Skills
Cloud Architecting / Solution Delivery expertise in preferably AWS
services
IT Consulting background with extensive client facing
experience
Demonstrable Enterprise Architecture planning and design skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and
facilitation skills
Excellent problem solving skills; the ability to manage multiple
tasks under tight deadlines
Preference will be given to candidates that also have database,
applications services support skills
Required Experience
5+ years? experience in engineering enterprise datacenter
solutions
Candidates must be a able to obtain a Government Public Trust
Clearance to include being a US Citizen
