those who protect us. The NGA Gateway West team is looking for a
Java Programmer to join our team in supporting the warfighters. As
a Java Programmer, you may:
- Perform maintenance and sustainment of modified or newly
created software to include updating executable code and source
code.
- Conducts test and evaluation activities for software
releases
- Coordinate and support deployment of software, collect user
comments and feedback to provide to customerRequired Education,
Experience, & Skills - Top Secret/SCI clearance mandatory- 3 years
of experience in Software Development and systems testing-
Proficiency with JAVA programming- Experience with PHP, JBoss,
Tomcat, Linux, Javascript, ColdFusion, and XSLT programming
languages- Understanding of developing web based systems from
dynamic results of a relational database- Ability to work
independently or with a team (as needed)- Ability to work in a
fast-paced environment- Ability to use time-management skills to
balance competing priorities and deliver productsPreferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, AZURE, etc)
- B.A. or B.S. degree in an associated technical discipline or 5
years of equivalent work experience
- 3 or more years of experience/familiarity with reading,
writing, debugging, updating (maintenance release/updates), and
fixing custom software
- 3 year of software development experience working with NGA and
Mission Partner Programs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Tool suite including Word,
PowerPoint and Excel Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420
- $191070Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
