Information System Specialist Position Description CGI Federal
is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented professional to
support a large federal client. The Information Systems Specialist
(Senior) will be responsible for the deployment, optimization, and
security of SharePoint Online within a Federal Government customer
environment. This role involves close collaboration with IT teams
and staff to ensure the effective use of SharePoint Online and
other Microsoft 365 tools. This position is located in our Fairfax,
VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your
future duties and responsibilities Support the configuration and
deployment of SharePoint Online. Conduct security assessments and
implement NIST-compliant security measures. Develop and maintain
training materials for SharePoint Online users. Provide technical
support and troubleshooting for SharePoint Online issues.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SharePoint Online with other
Microsoft 365 applications. Monitor and optimize SharePoint Online
performance and usage. Document system configurations and
procedures. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Minimum of 7
years of experience in information systems, with significant
experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. Background in
security and securing Microsoft 365 installations, specifically
SharePoint Online. Strong understanding of NIST security
requirements. Strong understanding of NIST Risk Management
Framework. Strong understanding of security assessments and NIST
control families. Excellent communication and training skills.
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field. Equivalent years of IT
work experience may be substituted. Ability to obtain and maintain
a Public Trust. Desired qualifications: Knowledge of Drupal is a
plus. Knowledge of Azure is a plus. Azure, SharePoint, or
security-related certification. Agile Project Manager or similar
certification. CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to
include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this
role. The determination of this range includes various factors not
limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and
license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for
merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at
or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions
are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A
reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S.
