Strategic Human Resources Director who will support our Enterprise
Shared Service sector located in Falls Church, VA. In this role,
the Human Resources Director is responsible for strategizing,
planning, organizing, and coordinating all aspects of HR
Management, including the implementation of key activities related
to DEI, succession planning, talent management, benefits,
compensation, performance management, and high potential assessment
and development. This role will own the HR strategy for a subset of
the ESS organization, identifying solutions and tackling the most
pressing talent opportunities and challenges at a strategic level,
successfully partnering with ESS leaders to create value for the
business. This role is pivotal to ensuring the organization's
ability to create an inclusive and service-oriented culture,
accelerate development for our employees, build people leader
capability, forecast and develop our critical skills roadmap, and
implement solutions that result in a strong retention for our
talent.Responsibilities:
- Identify HR solutions to address business and people
challenges
- Execute HR strategies to progress the ESS People Strategy and
deliver value to the business
- Serve as a strategic advisor, coach, and business partner to
the sector senior leadership team
- Build relationships with business leaders to offer thought
leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and
execution
- Understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to
increase alignment with the strategy by helping business leaders
identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities,
behaviors, structures, and processes
- Translate strategies into an executable plan that will help
Sector leadership address key human capital needs that are directly
related to the successful delivery of business outcomes and
performance
- Identify and develop key talent to grow the business, build
current and future capability, and achieve long-term business
success
- Align performance management and reward strategies to reinforce
an environment of dedication and innovation
- Diagnose gaps between current and desired organization
performance and deploy actions to resolve gaps, including
organization redesign, process change, coaching, and training
- Serve as a project manager, including strategizing, planning,
organizing, and coordinating all aspects of Human Resources
- Analyze workforce trends to model and forecast future labor
requirements to support senior leaders in workforce planning and
succession management
- Coach senior leaders to improve leadership abilities,
relationships among teams/individuals, and interpersonal
communications, as well as deliver effective performance
feedback
- Influence leaders to action and understand business
strategies
- Partner closely with sector Human Resources colleagues and
leadership, as well as colleagues in the center of excellence and
others across the company
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
to foster trust and influence key decisions
- Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives, partner closely with
the employee resource groups, and serve on both the sector and
company-wide diversity councils
- Serve as a creative problem solver; formulate recommendations
using data to clearly demonstrate the value of the solution
- Be results oriented and resilient, delivering consistent
results while exhibiting behaviors in line with our ESS
culture
- Provide strong people leadership by serving as a direct
supervisor to HR managerRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience or equivalent
experience
- Experience in Human Resources Management/Leadership
- Experience in Strategic HR Development and Execution
- Experience in Human Resources including DEI, succession
planning, talent management, benefits, compensation, performance
management, etc.
- Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between talent
and other HR initiatives and business strategy as well as deep
knowledge of HR policies, processes (e.g., workforce planning and
talent management), and talent management practices
- Ability to identify new ways for HR to support the business
strategy and develop clear, actionable steps in support of the
overall business strategy
- Ability to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that
will drive progress and change while supporting organizational
needs
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of quantitative and
qualitative data, recognize trends, tie back to business
priorities, and develop recommendations based on data analysis
- Experience in Program/Project Management
- Experience in People Management/Leadership
- Ability to develop effective relationships

TransformationPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $128100 -
$217800Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
